About Dan

Dan is a business and technology writer & consultant with more than two decades of experience working across enterprise technology, connectivity, security, infrastructure, and strategic business development.

Throughout his career, he has worked with businesses navigating digital transformation, helping customers and partners understand how technology can create meaningful business outcomes and drive risk adjusted growth. His experience and expertise spans business development, project management and leadership roles across the UK and Global technology sector, with a particular focus on networking, security, cloud, and emerging technologies.

Today, he is invested in elevating his career through study and conversation - at the intersection of business, technology and ideas.

His writing explores enterprise infrastructure and artificial intelligence to leadership, strategy, and the future of work. Dan is passionate about protecting identity and data, and is particularly interested in the relationship between technology and people: how we make decisions, build trust, adapt to change, and ultimately determine the kind of future we wish to create.

Beyond technology, Dan has a longstanding interest in AI, strategy, philosophy, cosmology, and the possibility that our understanding of reality remains incomplete. He believes some of the most interesting questions sit between disciplines rather than within them.

Above all else, Dan is a husband to his wife, Amy, and a father to their two sons, Isaac and Freddie. They are his greatest source of perspective and remind him daily that success is not measured solely by careers, titles, or achievements, but by the people we spend our lives with and the example we leave behind.

This website is a collection of his writing, research, and reflections. It is a place to collaborate, to store and explore work on and about technology, business, leadership, and the ideas shaping the future
